Migrating AlarmWorX64 MMX to GENESIS Version 11
In the version 11 release, AlarmWorX™64 MMX has been removed from GENESIS.
If you use AlarmWorX64 MMX and plan to upgrade to GENESIS version 11 or later, you need to migrate AlarmWorX64 MMX to Connected Field Service, Alert Notifications, or Bridging. This guide will help you through the migration process.
If you cannot migrate to Connected Field Service, Alert Notifications, or Bridging, we recommend that you remain on version 10.
Prerequisites

You must have basic knowledge of GENESIS and Alert Notifications, Bridging, or Connected Field Service to use this guide.
- If you are using AlarmWorX™64 Server, upgrade to Alarm Server.
- For SMS communications, you need at least one of:
- Third-party CPaaS services such as Microsoft, Twilio, and Vonage
- GSM cellular modem
- Sierra Wireless Airlink RV55 and MP70 with UDP connection
To migrate AlarmWorX64 MMX to modern GENESIS components:
- Choose which GENESIS components to use.
- Update Alarm Server's active time behavior for compatibility with AlarmWorX64 Server.
- Set up your alarm subscriptions.
- Set up your alarm filters.
- Set up your multimedia agents.
- Convert your action sets to workflows.
- Import or create your workers.
- Set up your worker groups.
- Set up your worker schedules.
