Converting Roles to Groups

In AlarmWorX™64 MMX, you could group workers by creating roles. In Connected Field Service, these are called groups.

Notes:

  • Workers imported from an external worker source, such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or ServiceNow, import their groups from that system. You can only use Workbench when creating and assigning groups for manually-added workers.
  • To configure schedules for workers or groups, see Schedules.

To create a new group for manually added workers and add workers to it:

  1. In Workbench, go to Alarms and Notifications Connected Field ServiceGroups.
  2. Right-click and select Add Group. Give the group a name and Apply the changes.
  3. Right-click the group and select Membership.
  4. Select users from the drop-down and use the + button to add them to the group.

    The Proficiency column is only used when workers are imported from an external system such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
