Importing or Creating Workers
In AlarmWorX™64 MMX, the contact information for an individual worker was entered into the appropriate agent. For example, the responding operator's email address was entered in the email agent configuration. In Connected Field Service, you configure a list of workers and their contact information. That contact information is used by whatever action is defined in the workflow.
Notes:
- You only use workers with Connected Field Service. If you are using Bridging or Alert Notifications, you can skip this step.
- To configure schedules for workers or groups, see Schedules.
To import or create workers:

Manually
To enter your workers and contact information manually:

- Right-click Local-Default and select Add User.
From an external source
To import your workers from an external worker source:
Workers can be imported from these worker sources:

- Azure Active Directory
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Salesforce
- ServiceNow
- In Workbench, go to Alarms and Notifications > Connected Field Service > Workers.
- Right-click Workersand select Add <your service> Source.

Once your workers have been added, you can select those workers in a Connected Field Service workflow. How do you want the workflow to select your workers? For instructions, click the desired method.
Fixed list
Specify a fixed list of workers to contact:
- In your Connected Field Service template, add the Fixed Contact List activity.
- In the activity settings, enter the names of the workers you would like the workflow to contact.
- If you want to notify all workers in the list at the same time, select Send to all workers at same time. Otherwise, the workflow will contact only one worker in the list, starting at the top. Each time the workflow reaches this activity, it will pick the next worker on the list.
Dynamic list
Dynamically select a list of workers to contact:
- In your Connected Field Service template, add the Worker Lookup activity.
- In the activity settings, go to the Worker Lookup section and set the conditions that will be used to select the list of workers.
- If you want to notify all workers in the list at the same time, set Worker contact options to Contact filtered workers all at once. Otherwise, the workflow will contact only one worker in the list, starting at the top. Each time the workflow reaches this activity, it will pick the next worker in the list.
