Adding a Dynamic that Moves or Changes an Object's Appearance

You can add a size, location, rotation, or color dynamic to an object in a 2D display or a 3D viewport.

In a 2D display

  1. Select the object you want to apply the dynamic apply to.

  2. Click the desired dynamic's icon from the ClosedDynamics ribbon, or click the dynamic's icon in the ClosedDynamic pane toolbar. (For information about specific dynamics, refer to Dimension and Color.)

  3. On the dynamic's Dynamics tab, set the DataSource property and any additional, appropriate properties in the Dynamic Behavior section. Each dynamic has its own dynamic properties. For information about how to set the dynamic's properties, refer to one of the following topics: Size Dynamic Properties, Location Dynamic Properties, Rotation Dynamic Properties, Color Dynamic Properties, Disable Dynamic Properties, or Hide Dynamic Properties.
