Configuring a BACnet Channel Overview

Before adding any BACnet devices to your GENESIS project, you need to configure at least one BACnet channel. By default, you can store your devices in the pre-configured Default Channel. Adding other channels is optional.

The default channel is also used for partial compatibility when upgrading from BACnet Classic.

Follow the links in the table to learn how to set up each part of the channel configuration.
