Adding Related Values and Other Fields to Be Historized

Alarm Server contains predefined categories of fields related to standard alarm specifications. However, you can also define custom fields that contain information based on your specific requirements. These related values can be used to store constant values, expression values, or tag values that provide additional context for the reason of an alarm trigger. Fields defined this way are available for logging via a collection in Alarm Historian, allowing you to view their values for all alarm events logged by the collection.

Prerequisite: Your project must contain both an Alarm Server and an Alarm Historian database.

To add a related values input, define a new field for the input, and set up a collection to log the field values, perform the following tasks:
