Adding a Send SMS Redirector to a Report

An SMS redirector sends an SMS when a report is finished.

To send an SMS using an SMS redirector, you need the following prerequisites:

• A working default SMS node is configured under Alarms and Notifications > Alert Notifications > SMS/Text Nodes. Learn more
• GENESIS Alert Notifications Point Manager is running.

To add an SMS redirector to your report:

1. Open Workbench and in Project Explorer, expand your project > Reports > Configurations > your configuration, right-click the desired report, and select Edit.
2. On the Redirector Commands tab, select Click here to add new item.
3. In the Selected rule settings panel in Command Type, select Send SMS.
4. Enter the desired Subject, Message, and To phone number.
5. In Execute Command On, select the condition for executing the redirector, and then click Apply.
6. To test your file redirector, right-click your report in Project Explorer and select Test Report. When the test completes, check the SMS recipient for your message.
