Reporting Options for Data Historian Importer

Data Historian Importer uses Audit Events to report the status of the merging process. An audit event message is sent at the warning level if merging of a batch of data failed. Other messages are sent at the normal level, and contain detailed information about a failed data merge.

Enabling Audit Event Logging for Data Historian Importer

Open Workbench and in Project Explorer, expand your project > Servers and Redundancy > Server Settings > Audit Event Settings. To enable the log, select the Data Historian Importer checkbox in the list of applications, and then click Apply .

Viewing the Data Historian Importer Log

You can use the Windows NT event log or Alarm Viewer in GraphWorX to view the GenEvent log.

To view the logged data in GraphWorX, add the Alarm Viewer control to the GraphWorX canvas and double click it to open the configuration. In the left panel, select Grid, and on the Source Tab on the right, select Event Subscription (Read Only) and add the desired event point.
