License Mode

The license mode property on the overview tab of the license viewer is the status of the currently activated license.

The license mode is also available via this system tag: $info:Overview.LicenseMode

This table describes the possible values of the license mode, what they mean, and whether the entitlements will be disabled.

Mode Description Tag value Entitlements are Disabled?
Good The license is working normally. 0  
Demo Mode

One of the following:

  • The license is in 12-hour demo mode.
  • You are using an ICO360-Trial-SIP license and the license is working normally.

Demo Time Out

One of the following:

  • The license is in 12-hour demo mode and the 12-hour period has passed.
  • You are using an ICO360-Trial-SIP license and the 2-hour period has passed.
2 Disabled
License Failed There is a problem with the license or it has expired. The grace or recovery period (if any) for this type of license has passed. 3 Disabled
License Failing There is a problem with the license, but the grace period is in effect. This could indicate a hardware key has been removed or FrameWorX could not contact the ICONICS cloud licensing server. For more information on the grace periods for the different license types, see Grace Periods 4  
Start Delayed Mode This state is rarely used. It only occurs with software licenses, and only if a specific startup delay is configured for the license. The license will be in this mode until the delay is finished. 5 Disabled
Cloud License Disabled A cloud license is in use, but it has expired or the subscription has ended. 6 Disabled
Recovery Mode There has been a problem with the software license, and the system has entered recovery mode. For more information, see Replacing Lost or Broken Licenses 7
