Directly Subscribe to Alarms and Events
In previous product versions, if a BridgeWorX64 transaction needed to execute based on an alarm or an event, the user needed to configure a separate alarm trigger and link the trigger to the transaction. That is still an option, but now users can configure their desired alarm or event subscription directly on the transaction itself.
The alarm subscriptions can be configured on the Alarm Subscriptions tab of a BridgeWorX64 transaction. If a transaction has both triggers and alarm subscriptions, the transaction will run when any trigger or matching alarm occurs.
Being able to subscribe directly to events is particularly useful when working with MQTT brokers using our new Information Broker functionality.
This feature is also used with our new CFSWorX product.
