About This Guide

The purpose of this guide is to help new users get started with GENESIS. It takes a practical approach, using a Tank Farm Management System (TFMS) as an example. A TFMS monitors liquids to ensure safety and protection against leaks and measures tank levels, pressure volatility, and flow rates to ensure operational efficiency.

Our project scenario consists of three liquid storage tanks, tank-level pumps, valves, tank depth, pressure, and temperature indicators, and flow meters for monitoring purposes. After making data connections, you will configure process points and visual objects, such as control buttons for the tank components in GraphWorX™. After that, you can optionally create a display similar to the following example.

If you need information about upgrading the software, see the GENESIS Version 11 Upgrade Guide. If you are installing GENESIS for the first time, see the GENESIS Version 11 Installation Guide for more information.
