Executing Bulk Asset Configurator for Alarms

After configuring the Tank's Inner Pressure and Temperature alarms, you can execute the preconfigured Excel file again. The Bulk Asset Configurator will update all your equipment—including 27 different pieces of equipment—with the alarm settings. See Using Bulk Asset Configurator for more information.

To execute the Bulk Asset Configurator for alarms:

1. In the search box on the Windows taskbar (Windows 10 and 11), enter Bulk Asset Configurator and open the app.

   

2. On the File tab, click Bulk Asset Configurator, select the BACTankFarm.xlsx file, and then click Open.

   

3. On the Home tab, click Execute. The Bulk configuration process log appears.

   

4. Review the Bulk configuration process log, and then click Close.
5. Verify that the equipment assets update.
   1. Open Workbench.
   2. In the Project Explorer, expand Assets > Equipment.
   3. Right-click Tank Farm Management System and select Refresh.
   4. Expand Flow Indicators, Pressure Indicators, Pumps, Tanks, and Valves. Verify the Alarms using Data Explorer.
