Preset Security Roles

In GENESIS security, you can quickly change the privileges granted to a user or group by selecting one of the preset security role buttons.

Selecting one of these buttons applies the privileges listed below. The privileges for this user or group can then be customized as needed.

Preset Role Name	Privileges Granted
Administrator	All possible rights.
Operator	All rights of the Read Only role, plus the ability to write to all points and alarms and to control the system (but not to configure).
Read Only	Read or visualize all points, alarms, files, assets, favorites, charts, and custom items. Execute all methods. Download all reports and transactions. Perform application actions related to viewing or reading items and changing user preferences.
