Verify GENESIS Installation ISO File
GENESIS is distributed as a disk image file with a .iso extension. A common location you can access the files if you are a user with an active support plans if from the Iconics Community Portal.
When downloading from the Community Portal it is possible in rare cases that your download may not complete properly or the file may be somehow corrupted in the process. You can use the Hash Code available from the Community Portal to help verify the file integrity.
Confirm the ISO file integrity using the hash code
-
Navigate to the Product Download page for that product on the Community Portal, and look for the "Hash" field. It should look something like this:
-
Launch a command prompt on your computer with access to the .iso file you have downloaded.
-
Run the following command - make sure to replace the example ISO name below with the name of your ISO:
Get-FileHash GENESIS_11.03.578.iso -
Compare the hash code from the Community Portal with the result of this command. If the numbers do not match then it is likely that your ISO did not download correctly. We recommend re-downloading it.
