Accessing Data Explorer
You can access Data Explorer in the following ways.
-
As a stand-alone utility:
You can open Data Explorer from the Windows Start menu (Start > All apps > GENESIS Tools > Data Explorer) and begin browsing and visualizing your system's data with zero front-end configuration required.
-
As a part of GraphWorX desktop runtime:
The GraphWorX desktop application's runtime ribbon contains a button to open Data Explorer inside GraphWorX.
-
As a page in a web browser:
You can open Data Explorer in a web browser as a pre-installed GraphWorX display file. For example, on the local GENESIS server, you can navigate to the following address:
http://localhost/AnyGlass/PubDisplay/GwxDataExplorer.gdfx
-
As an embedded component in your own GraphWorX displays:
Data Explorer can also be embedded into GraphWorX screens that you configure. This gives you some additional configurable options for the Data Explorer look and behavior.
