Supported Mitsubishi Electric Devices
GENESIS is tightly integrated with a number of Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation devices. These devices include PLCs (MELSEC), HMIs (GOT), frequency inverters (FREQROL) and industrial robots (MELFA), and they can be configured in Workbench through the Mitsubishi Electric FA component.

In companion with the PLC CPUs, MELSEC PLCs can pair with additional modules and adapters. These modules and adapters can add support for one or more of the following protocols: USB, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet, and CC-Link. These protocols are used to program them, deploying different configurations. This is usually used to add new capabilities to a PLC.
