Troubleshooting Steps

1.

Asset Builder fails and you see an error message about assets in the logs.

Your project must contain the Assets component.

In Workbench, open the project's application settings and enable Assets.

Asset Builder fails and the logs show an error message about Language Aliasing.

Your project must contain the Language Aliasing component.

In Workbench, open the project's application settings and enable Language Aliasing.

Asset Builder fails and an error message related to Mitsubishi Electric FA appears in the log.

Your project must contain the Mitsubishi Electric FA component.

In Workbench, open the project's application settings and enable Mitsubishi Electric FA .

4.

Asset Builder fails and the logs show an error message about FacePlateList.csv.

The user operating Workbench must have read and write permissions to the path selected in the Project Output Folder.

Grant the user running Workbench read and write permissions for the Project Output Folder.

5.

The FacePlateList.csv file must not be open in any other application.

Close the application that has FacePlateList.csv open.

6.

Asset Builder fails and the logs show an error message regarding generating the output path.

The user operating Workbench must have permission to create folders in the path selected in the Project Output Folder.

Grant the user running Workbench permission to create a folder in the path selected in the Project Output Folder.

Asset Builder fails and the log displays an error message about copying screen files.

The template screen file must exist in: C:\Program Files\ICONICS\GENESIS64\Services\Melco\AssetBuilder\Templates\.

If the template file does not exist, install GENESIS again.
