Customizing Twilio Voice and Language

Twilio supports multiple voice and language options. You can set up the desired option in your Twilio configuration in Workbench on the General Settings tab in the Voice customizations section.

To select Twilio language:

1. Go to Available voices and languages on the Twilio website and copy the language code.
2. Open Workbench and in Project Explorer, expand your project > Alarms and Notifications > Alert Notifications > Twilio Configurations, expand the desired folder and open the desired configuration.

3. In the Voice customizations section in Language, enter the selected language code, and then click Apply.

   If a you set a different language than English, the message text should be in that language for the voice customization to work.
