Activating and Inactivating a 3D Viewport

  • To inactivate a viewport, double-click outside of the Closed3D viewport boundary in the 2D work area;

  • To activate a viewport, double-click inside the 3D viewport boundary.

This lets you toggle into and out of a 3D viewport, and is especially helpful when you want to work with both 2D and 3D features in the same GraphWorX64 display.

Note that you cannot save a display while you are inside a 3D viewport; you must inactivate the viewport by clicking outside of it before the save features become available. For more information, refer to the Saving a GraphWorX64 Display with a 3D Viewport topic.

Tip: You can also inactivate a viewport by pressing the Esc key. Keep this in mind for those times when the viewport takes up the entire screen and you can’t click outside its boundary.
