System Requirements

Note: This topic contains three different hardware setups to illustrate the minimum required specifications, a standard or medium-powered setup and a high performance machine.

We recommend that the:

  • System page file size be a minimum of four times the size of the installed (physical) RAM.

  • For server class operating systems that offer "Server Core" or "Desktop Experience" options, GENESIS64 Suite only supports "Desktop Experience."
  • A server class operating system is highly recommended for web hosting and AnalytiX features.

Situational Prerequisites

These components are not always installed, but may be installed based upon specific conditions:

    • Installed for compatibility if Microsoft Edge is not already installed

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2022

    • Installed unless an alternative SQL Server (local or remote) instance is selected

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2022 Setup

    • Installed unless an alternative SQL Server (local or remote) instance is selected

  • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

    • Installed unless an alternative SQL Server (local or remote) instance is selected

Optional Hardware

  • Ethernet adapter, WiFi card, or cellular 3G
  • USB port (for hardware license)
  • Serial COM ports or other adapters (for data I/O)

Uninstalling

We recommend to use Apps & features from Windows Settings to uninstall the applications. Removing the application via other means (such as simply deleting files) may leave files, settings, or registry entries behind, and is not supported.
