Introduction to GraphWorX64 3D
GraphWorX64 has a three-dimensional (3D) feature that gives you special features for creating dynamic displays that provide a more powerful and compelling user experience, especially when you are interacting with dynamic machine-based controls and three-dimensional sites and objects. Example.
You add a 3D viewpoint by clicking the on the Home ribbon, then dragging your cursor on the 2D work surface to create a box the size of the viewport you are creating. For help, refer to Activating and Creating a 3D Viewport.
In a 3D space, you can create a runtime user experience that simulates interaction with a 3D environment and create displays that allow users to:
-
Visualize real-time data in a three-dimensional realm, using animation to reflect actual data originating from OPC tags.
-
Do virtual de-constructions of machines to look inside machines for problems.
-
Move virtually throughout a 3D space, for example through a reactor, inside a machine, or across a campus.
-
Monitor sites remotely, jump from floor to floor, move from building to building, or travel from street to street.
-
Manipulate objects and take action remotely and then monitor progress.
