Viewing Licenses

There are two ways to view licenses and their entitlements.

To see information about any license, activated or not, you can use the ICONICS Web Licensing site. The View License function of the site can give you a variety of information, including whether the license has been activated and what products are included in the activation.

The Web Licensing site can give you the following information about a license.

• The license version
• For activated licenses:
  • The site key, hardware key serial number, or cloud license pool of where it is activated
  • Products that were included in the activation
• For software licenses, the GLIC file
• For time-limited licenses, the expiration date
• For cloud licenses, the last time the ICONICS cloud license server contacted your GENESIS64 server

Using the ICONICS Web Licensing Site to View a License

To see information about an activated license, its entitlements, and how they are currently being used, you can use the license viewer in Workbench or MonitorWorX.

The license viewer can give you the following information about the activated license.

• Status of the license
• In-use and available numbers for entitlements
• Reserved numbers for entitlements
• Format of the license (software, hardware, or cloud)
• The server name where the license is hosted
• The method of tag counting in use
• When the license server was last started
