Changing the Hyper Historian License Mode

Hyper Historian can run in one of three modes, Express, Standard, or Enterprise.

To change the mode to express:

1. Edit C:\ProgramData\ICONICS\IcoCustomSetup.ini.

2. Find the line that starts with HHF= and set it equal to 0.

3. Restart the ICONICS Hyper Historian Logger service.

To change the mode to standard or enterprise:

1. In Workbench, go to Historical Data > Hyper Historian > System Administration and open System Settings.

2. Set the license mode to auto select license.

   With auto select license selected, Hyper Historian will try to use an enterprise entitlement first. If there are no enterprise entitlements available, it will try to use a standard entitlement. If you want to force it to use a specific entitlement, choose either standard license or enterprise license instead of auto select license.

3. Edit C:\ProgramData\ICONICS\IcoCustomSetup.ini.

4. Find the line that starts with HHF= and set it equal to 1.

5. Restart the ICONICS Hyper Historian Logger service.
