Keyboard Shortcuts and Touch Versus Mouse Mode

Keyboard Shortcuts

KPIWorX has the following keyboard shortcuts:

• P - toggle Presentation mode

• F - open Favorites panel

• D - open Tags panel

• A - open Asset panel

• N - open Navigation panel

• C - open Component Library

• V - open Container Settings panel

• B - open Widget Settings panel

• Ctrl-S - save dashboard

• Ctrl-C - copy the selected widget

• Ctrl-V - paste the selected widget

• Delete or Backspace - delete the selected widget

Touch Versus Mouse Mode

To toggle between touch and mouse mode go to the Home tab and select the Mode button. By default, KPIWorX is laid out to offer the best experience for touch users. If you are using KPIWorX with a full keyboard and mouse you may want to toggle into mouse mode.

One of the biggest changes between touch and mouse mode is the tag browser. In touch mode, the browser only shows the current level of tags or assets and each click to drill down opens a new "page" of tags or assets. In mouse mode, the tag browser is an expandable tree, and looks more similar to the Workbench data browser.
